In 15 minutes we take a look at exciting American histories connected to Kraków. Why did Americans come to Kraków? What did they do here? What did they leave behind? Find out in this presentation from Leszek Mazan.

American ties with Kraków have been ongoing for many years. In the city, you can see the first-ever globe dating from 1505 which has America marked. Thanks to Buffalo Bill, who was in Kraków with his circus in 1905, we know how to play soccer. Students from the local Jagiellonian University were already “hitting a ball with a bat” in the 15th century, thanks to which we can proudly state that baseball comes from Kraków, just like everything else worthy of note. Oh, and one last thing: you probably think that hamburgers couldn’t be from this city, but after seeing our presentation on American traces in Kraków you’ll find out a different story.

American traces in Kraków is a multimedia 3D-mapping presentation written by Leszek Mazan and displayed on a model of the city measuring 4×5 metres. Over the course of 15 minutes we’ll tell you all about American traces in Kraków – you’ll hear an intriguing story intertwined with interesting and fun facts you won’t find anywhere else.

The museum can house up to 45 people at a time, thanks to which the group can sit comfortably and relax during the presentation, which is given in English.
